T.A.P (Teacher Assistance Programme)

Objectives

To provide financial aid to individuals of the teaching community by a process of request made by applicants from the teaching community, recommendation by a person of repute and standing in society, scrutiny and approval by a screening committee formed for this specific purpose.

Scope

  • The program identifies promising teachers who are at risk of dropping out of teaching profession due to financial distress or strain.
  • An application process (Annexure- I), which includes in-person interviews and home visits, awards highly motivated teachers with the financial assistance they desperately need.
  • The financial aid to the teachers can be in the form of teachers training tuition fees, medical health support.

Expected Outcome

  • With this program we plan to help highly motivated teachers to pursue their teaching vocation and help on build a more stable career in teaching profession.
  • With this program we will be able to keep the aspirations of some of teachers – alive.
  • Financial aid will enhance their social standing, economic independence and empower their decision making.
  • They will be able to contribute more in educating the next generation.

Application Process:

  • Teachers applying for financial aid need to "Register" by providing accurate and authenticated information as printed on their documents in the "Registration Form". (Annexure- I)
  • Before initiating registration process, teacher is advised to keep the following documents handy:
  • Educational documents of Teacher (eg: Degree Certificate)
  • Teacher Job Experience, Job offer letter)
  • Aadhaar number of the Teacher, Photo ID, Address Proof)

Schedule & Timeline:

  • Teacher to send in their duly filled application form to gurudakshine3190@gmail.com, by June 10th 2021. (by 6 pm)
  • Rotary Gurudakshine committee to review the application.
  • Notification on approval to the selected teacher will be done in 2 weeks from June 10th.
